TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE II 

WEEK 5

INTRODUCTION 

This week was primarily centered around exam-related activities and student support. With the Christmas examinations underway, the focus was on ensuring smooth conduct of exams, helping students manage stress, and attending to their overall well-being through supportive activities like mid-day meal distribution. The week provided practical experience in balancing administrative responsibilities with student guidance.





CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 


16/12/2025 Tuesday 

Actively assisted in exam arrangements and related duties, ensuring that the examinations were conducted smoothly and in an organized manner. This involved helping with seating arrangements, distributing question papers, maintaining discipline, and supporting the invigilators to create a conducive environment for students to perform confidently.

17/12/2025 Wednesday 

On 17th December 2025 (Wednesday), I assisted in exam arrangements and related duties, ensuring that the examination process was conducted smoothly and in an organized manner. This included helping with seating arrangements, distributing question papers, maintaining discipline, and supporting both students and staff throughout the exam period.

18/12/2025 Thursday 

On 18th December, I assisted in exam duties, helping to ensure the smooth and disciplined conduct of the examinations. My responsibilities included monitoring the exam hall, distributing and collecting answer scripts, and providing any necessary support to students and staff during the examination process.




CO- CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 

16/12/2024 Tuesday 

A class on exam stress management was conducted to help students cope with anxiety and pressure during examinations. The session focused on practical strategies such as time management, relaxation techniques, and positive thinking, enabling students to approach their exams with confidence and a calm mindset.




EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES 

16/12/2025 TUESDAY 

Actively participated in the distribution of the mid-day meal, ensuring that students received their food in an organized and hygienic manner. This activity also provided an opportunity to observe the importance of nutrition and the teacher’s role in supporting students’ overall well-being.


Conclusion 

Overall, the week was focused on supporting students during the examination period while also attending to their well-being. By assisting in exam arrangements, conducting a stress management class, and participating in mid-day meal distribution, I contributed to creating a structured, supportive, and caring environment. These activities reinforced the importance of a teacher’s role not just in academic guidance but also in addressing students’ emotional and physical needs.
